We were commissioned by the South London Gallery Local to use our performative process to
develop a consultation that would engage wider audiences on Sceaux Gardens Estate with its
regeneration. To do this we produced the Storm as a three day workshop on the Estate underneath the Office of The Tenants and Residents Association.
We utilised a series of sculptural objects, moving image, sound work and role-play to re enact a series of scripts from regeneration processes with residents.
The process prompted discussions about architecture, regeneration and materials and formed a collective narrative between residents on the behavior necessary to survive the Storm.
This became a mechanism to join Estate residents, researchers and activists together in a shared conference.
